This page answers four questions in plain order: what this site is, what it is not, who runs it, and how it makes money. The editorial policy we hold ourselves to is printed here as well, along with the way to ask for a correction.

What this site is

Stone Creek Post is a small independent site about practical cooking and daily routine for men over 40. We publish short, plain articles about four things: the order you eat your meals in, cooking fast on a weeknight, short movement you can do at home, and planning a grocery run. That's the whole subject.

Every article is written to be usable the same evening you read it, without buying anything. The reader we have in mind works long days, cooks very little, and has no interest in turning either subject into a hobby.

We also recommend one paid product, and the affiliate disclosure runs in the body of every page that recommends it, next to the recommendation itself — not only in the footer. Section 04 explains that arrangement in full.

What this site is not

This is the part most sites leave out, so we are putting it first and in plain words.

• We are not a newspaper and we are not a news organization. We do not report, we do not conduct interviews, we do not publish reader correspondence, and we do not maintain an archive of anything.
• We did not interview anyone for anything on this site. No source has ever spoken to us, because we have never asked one to.
• We do not publish testimonials. Not real ones, not composite ones, not illustrative ones. If you ever see a named person with an age and a town on this site, something has gone wrong and we want to hear about it.
• We are not the creator, the seller or the manufacturer of the product we recommend. Flavorful Bites is sold by Man Boost Formulas on the Hotmart platform. We are a third party pointing at it.
• We are not a medical source. Nothing here is medical advice, and we do not write about diagnosis or medical care. Talk to your physician before you change what you eat or how you move.

Who runs it

The details below are the ones that apply to this site, and they are what to use if you need to reach whoever is responsible for it.

We have no newsroom, no staff list, no contributors and no advisory board, so there is none of that to publish. We publish under the name of the publication rather than a personal byline, and the email address above reaches the people who write it.

How we make money

Editorial policy

Seven rules. They are short on purpose, because a rule you cannot remember is a rule you cannot be held to.

• Rule 01

  We disclose the affiliate relationship in the body of every page that recommends the product, alongside the recommendation and not only in the footer. On the pages that link to the checkout it sits above the fold.

• Rule 02

  We don't publish testimonials, success stories, or before-and-after claims of any kind.

• Rule 03

  We don't make health claims. We write about habit, timing, cost, and taste. Nothing here is medical advice.

• Rule 04

  We don't use fake urgency — no countdown timers, no limited spots, no "today only".

• Rule 05

  We say what a product does not do, on the same page where we recommend it.

• Rule 06

  We name the seller and the platform every time we name a price.

• Rule 07

  If we get something wrong, we fix it on the page and say what changed.

What we recommend, and why only one thing

One product, not a shelf of them. A page that recommends twelve things is a page that has stopped choosing, and a reader can tell.

We didn't make this program, and we have had no contact with the seller or with anyone who appears in the presentation. We recommend it because it matches what we write about here: ordinary groceries, short cooking times, and a routine you can keep on a Tuesday. The people who appear in the seller's presentation are figures in that presentation, and we describe them as such — when we quote it, we write that the program's creator says something, never that we spoke to anyone.

We also print what it does not do, on the same page where we recommend it, in the program's own words and with the timestamp where each statement appears in the seller's presentation.

If something on this site is inaccurate, email [email protected] with the page address and what's wrong. We answer within two business days and we correct the page itself rather than quietly deleting it.

When we change something factual, the change is made on the page and noted there. The revision line in the title block at the top of each page is how you can tell which version you are reading.
