Privacy Policy

This page names every tracking technology running on this site, one by one, with what it does, what data it touches, where it runs and a link to the company that operates it. It is written to be read in ten minutes by a person who is not a lawyer.

Who operates this site

Stone Creek Post is a small independent content site. It is not a news organization, it is not the creator of any product it writes about, and it is not a payment processor. It is written and edited in-house by the Stone Creek Post editors, who are responsible for this policy. Everything below is how you reach us about it.

This policy covers the pages published at stonecreekpost.com. It does not cover any other site you reach from here. When you follow a link out of this site, the policy of the site you land on applies instead.

What we collect

There is no account on this site. There is no login, no comment box, no survey and no signup form on any page. We never ask you for your name, your address, your date of birth or your payment details, and there is nowhere on this site to type them.

What is collected is technical, and it is collected by the services listed in section 04 as a by-product of loading a page. In plain terms, that is:

• Your IP address, which your connection sends with every request.
• Your browser, operating system, device type and screen size, as your browser reports them.
• Which pages you opened on this site, in what sequence, and at what time.
• The address you arrived from, including any click parameters attached to it by an advertising system.
• Whether the presentation video on the program page started, and how far it played.
• A click identifier written by our attribution tool, so that a purchase can be credited to this site.

We do not ask for and do not want any special category of data. Nothing on this site asks about your medical history, your medication, your finances, your religion, your politics or your family, and you should not send that to us.

Cookies and tracking — we do use them

The earlier version of this policy stated that we did not use cookies, browser trackers or behavioral tools. That statement was false, and it was false on the same page that was loading a tracking script. We have removed it rather than softened it.

Here is the accurate version. This site is an affiliate. Our whole business model depends on being able to tell that a click came from here, which means a click identifier has to survive from the page you land on to the checkout page. That identifier is stored in a cookie or in browser storage. A second set of technologies plays and measures the seller's presentation video, and a third set keeps the site online and filters abusive traffic. All of them are named in the next section.

None of it is used to build a profile of you as a person, and none of it is used to reach you afterwards on another site. What it is used for is counting a click and playing a video.

There is one thing on this site that does respond to what you do, and we would rather print it here than have you find it. On the program page, the purchase button is hidden until roughly ten and a half minutes of the presentation have played, and the player remembers that you passed that point. It is the playback measurement described under vTurb in the next section that releases it. The text of that page is the same for everyone either way.

The technologies in use, named one by one

Eight services are involved when you use this site. Cloudflare, Hostinger Google Fonts and the site software itself touch data on every page of it. RedTrack runs on our presell page and vTurb on our program page. Hotmart touches your data only after you follow a checkout link and leave this site. Google Ads only puts a parameter in the address you arrive with. Each one is listed below with what it does, what data it touches, the domain it runs on, and a link to the policy of the company that operates it. If you find something running on this site that is not on this list, write to us and we will either remove it or add it here.

Site software (WordPress and Elementor)

Affiliate and ad clicks, explained once in plain words

This is the part most privacy policies leave vague, so here it is in full.

You click an ad. Google adds a click parameter to the address. You land on our presell page, and the RedTrack script there reads that parameter and writes its own click identifier into a cookie or into browser storage. When you use a link on that page, you pass through rt.stonecreekpost.com/preclick, where RedTrack records the click and sends you on to our program page. The chain ends there: the checkout link on the program page is a fixed Hotmart address that carries our affiliate identifier and nothing about you, and no tracking script of ours runs on that page. If a purchase happens, Hotmart credits the sale against that affiliate identifier and we are paid a commission.

That chain exists for one reason: to attribute a sale. The price you pay is exactly the same whether or not the chain works. If you block it, we simply are not credited. That is our problem to live with, not a reason to hide the mechanism from you.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or trade data about you. There is no arrangement of that kind and there never has been.
• We do not run a mailing list from this site. No page here has a signup form, and we have not built a list of visitors.
• We do not run a remarketing or retargeting script. There is no Meta pixel, no TikTok pixel and no Google remarketing tag in the pages of this site.
• We do not build behavioral profiles, score visitors, or change what a page says based on who is reading it. One thing does depend on your own playback and not on who you are: on the program page the purchase button is hidden until about ten and a half minutes of the presentation have played, and the player remembers that you passed that point. The text of every page is the same for every visitor.
• We do not make automated decisions about you that have any legal or similar effect.
• We do not receive your payment details from Hotmart, and we do not want them.
• We do not publish what any individual reads here, and we do not share it with anyone outside the seven services named in section 04.

How to refuse it, and what happens when you do

Nothing here is compulsory. Every one of the technologies in section 04 can be blocked from your side, and none of it requires our permission. What follows is how, and what breaks.

• Block cookies for this domain. In your browser settings, block cookies and site data for stonecreekpost.com, or block third-party cookies generally. The site still reads normally. The click identifier is not kept, so a purchase is not credited to us.
• Clear what is already stored. Clearing cookies and site data for this domain deletes the click identifier and the player's stored position. You can do this at any time without telling us.
• Block the scripts. A content blocker or a privacy extension can block rt.stonecreekpost.com, scripts.converteai.net and fonts.googleapis.com. The text of every page still loads, in a fallback typeface where the fonts are blocked. The presentation video will not play, because the player is the thing you blocked — and, since it is the player that releases the purchase button, that button will not appear either. There is no separate purchase link on that page, so if you block the player and still want the program, you will have to unblock it or go to the seller's platform yourself.
• Remove the click parameters. You can delete gclid, wbraid or gbraid from the address bar and reload, or type stonecreekpost.com directly instead of arriving through an ad. Nothing on the site changes.
• Adjust it at the source. Google's ad settings, at myadcenter.google.com, control what Google does with your advertising data. That is between you and Google; we have no part in it.
• Use a browser signal. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we take it as an objection to any sharing of your data for advertising purposes. Since we do not sell or share data for advertising in the first place, there is nothing for the signal to switch off, and we will be straight about the mechanism: this site runs no script that reads or stores that signal, so nothing here records it. We treat it as a standing objection and will not act against it.

Cloudflare and Hostinger cannot be blocked from your side, because they are the site itself: one serves the pages and the other stores them. Their logs are the technical record of a page being served, and a site cannot be served without one.

How long any of it is kept

We hold very little ourselves. Most of what section 04 describes sits inside the third-party service that produced it, under that company's own retention schedule, which we do not control and do not extend.

We do not maintain a database of visitors, and there is no archive of who read what. When a record is no longer needed for attribution or for our own accounting, it is not kept for a rainy day.

Your rights over your data

Depending on where you live, the law may give you specific rights. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, that is the GDPR. In California, it is the CCPA as amended. In Brazil, it is the LGPD. Wherever you are, we will handle a request the same way rather than checking your address first.

• Ask what is held. You can ask us what data relating to you exists, and where it sits.
• Get a copy. Where we hold something about you, you can ask for a copy of it.
• Correct it. If something is wrong, you can ask us to fix it.
• Delete it. You can ask us to delete what we hold, and to ask the services in section 04 to do the same on their side.
• Object or restrict. You can object to processing, or ask that it be limited while a question is being resolved.
• Withdraw consent. Where processing rests on your consent, you can withdraw it, and doing so does not undo what was lawful before.
• Opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share data for advertising, so this right is satisfied by default. Ask anyway if you want it in writing.
• Complain. You can complain to the data protection authority where you live. Nothing here obliges you to come to us first.

To use any of these, write to [email protected] with the address of the page and what you are asking for. We answer within two business days. We will not charge you and we will not make you create an account to ask.

Where your data goes. The companies named in section 04 are not all in the country you are reading from, and the infrastructure they run on spans more than one. Opening a page here, or following a checkout link out of it, can mean the technical data described above is processed outside your own country, under each company's own safeguards and under the policies linked in section 04. We do not choose where any of them stores it, and we have nothing of our own to store abroad.

One honest limitation. On our side, the only handle we have on a visitor is a click identifier and an IP address. We cannot match those to a name, which means that for a request about our own records we may have to ask you for the click identifier or the approximate time and page. Where the data sits with a third party instead, we will tell you which one and point you at their process rather than pretending it is ours to delete.

Children

This site is written for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from a minor. If you believe a minor has sent us something, write to the address in section 11 and we will delete it.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the date printed at the top of this page, we keep the page at the same address rather than removing it, and we say what changed. A policy that is quietly rewritten is not a policy.

If we ever add a service that touches your data, it goes into the table in section 04 before it goes onto the site. If we remove one, the row comes out and the date at the top moves.
